Melancholy skies, holding back the tears
With wild geese flying to meet other years
Flames of crimson torches come flinging
Leaves on gnarled branches swinging
Desolate winds rush leaping
Taking flowers to their final sleeping...

I have seen You in the setting Sun
With Your long auburn tresses…
You sit upon Your throne and watch
The dying fires of the setting Sun
Shine forth its final colors in the sky

The moonlight glistens across the sky
as it intertwines in a dance with the night.
The wind bellows an Autumn tune
leaves ruffle seeing this dance so soon.
The chill in the air sighs a jealous wail
as it bites at flesh with envy but fails.
It is Autumn now I see again.
Feel the joy of my was and whens..
