Full Moon in Scorpio; April 29nd, 2018 ☾♏

“As the lotus rises on its stalk unsoiled by the mud and water, so the wise one speaks of peace and is unstained by the opinions of the world.” – Buddha

The most potent Full Moon of the year peaks at 8:59 PM EST on Sunday as the Sun in sensual Taurus opposes the Moon in mysterious Scorpio. Taurus and Scorpio are opposite signs, but they also have similarities, both being Yin, fixed and possessive.

Earth sign Taurus is about peace, stability and pleasing the senses – sight, sound, smell, taste, touch. Water sign Scorpio is about exploring the depths of existence; the things that go beyond the physical experience – spirituality, emotions, death, rebirth. It’s the Natural vs. the Supernatural.

Under these Truth or Dare moonbeams, extreme behavior, amplified desires and emotional declarations are possible. But, the Moon in the dark realm of Scorpio also opens the portal to healing at the deepest level.

This phase of the Moon occurs at 10 degrees of Scorpio. If your birthday falls within five days of November 1st, these Moonbeams will be speaking to you directly. Those with personal planets and points at approximately 8 to 12 degrees of the Fixed signs Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius will also benefit from this Full Moon in Scorpio. The issues associated with the houses involved will provide insights into how this Full Moon will impact you personally..

“This Full Moon occurs around the time of a Mars-Pluto alignment, adding to the themes of transformation, growth, and intensity. Its square to the North Node can feel jarring – it may take us out of our comfort zone with a jolt that feels disruptive and possibly counter-productive at first glance. This lunation’s harmony with Saturn, however, points to an ultimate sense that we’re doing the right things for long-term growth and success. With the Moon full and bright in the sky, symbolic “illumination” occurs in our lives. These new revelations are emotional ones, as emotions burst forth into our consciousness.” –Lyn Hayes

Think about what changes you’ve been putting off, the healing you’ve needed; the release that is calling out. Taurus loves to hold on, but Scorpio is about letting go. It takes full disclosure and a brave heart to be truthful about your feelings. Sending you much Love. xx
